Hi Boatdriver! It has been a while... How's the rescue business these days?

Happy Birthday to you Sukerkin.

I just passed the big five-oh a couple of weeks ago myself. Kind of sobering really to think that I've gotten that old

A belated "Happy Day" to Sukerkin...May you have many more!!!
Whilst I'me here...couldn't come up with a better name than "UB57" when I discovered GT3 Forums. (Lotsa people call me "Uncle Bob" & I was 57 years young at the time.) Recently retired that Moniker since I'll soon be 60.
Life long car nut, even asked my Mother for a "Baby Car" when she went to the hospital to have my brother.
Koolest employments: Los Angeles County Fireman, NASA Tech (Jet Propulsion Labs), brief stints as a fabricator for Mickey Thompson & John Buttera...still fire up my heli-arc on occasion, Sign Painter/Pinstriper. Everything else is even more boring than what I've mentioned! ...O.G.

Thanks player 2. I'm sorry I didn't respond 'til now, but I'm getting ready to go on vacation. No personal time for things, at home or work.

Yup, too long, Gary. Glad to see ya still kickin' around. I've been kinda quiet since the GTRC wrapped up, lots to do at work & with the kids (6 & 8 now), not so much time for typing opinions about video games...

Anyway, business is good...we just launched another new boat (740hp@ 3100rpm, twin jet drive, 44+ knots) Hit the website at safesea.com if you wanna check it out. There's a ride waiting for you next time you come to RI.

Hope all is well with you & yours.

I joined The Numbers in January 2004.

I've been lurking here regularly, and occasionally been doing a little OLR too. I used to race a lot over at the Planet, but have always liked the friendly and more mature atmosphere here at the Numbers better.

Lately I have moved more and more of my activity over to the Numbers, so I think it's natural to make a more formal presentation of myself:

I'm 41 and have a couple of sons at 7 and 9 years.
The oldest has become a pretty hardcore gamer, but refuses to play GT with his dad. And as a middle aged man, my friends thinks I'm a bit of a nerd playing video games, so when I discovered OLR a couple of years ago, I was thrilled.
Racing against, but especially racing with others was a fantastic experience. Now 2 years later and several friend richer I'm still very hooked on the OLR.

Niels
