Might as well jump on the ship

Moppie is a nickname Iv had for a LONG time, so long I occasinaly forget my real name, and have known ppl for years who still dont know it.

Im 25, no kids and currently single.
Im a long term BA Student at the University of Auckland down here in NZ, major is Philosophy but the more I learn about the political and social structure of our complex society the more I disagree with it, and see University as only encouraging it, and so fail more papers........ (4.5yrs and counting)

In the mean time I drive a bread truck and work here www.lotus.co.nz so Im a real jack of all trades, just as flexable with my mind as I am with my hands.

I love fish! and for mostly polotical reasons eat very little meat, so fish makes up a large part of my diet.
Iv also been almost raised on a boat, and Im just as combfterbly in a large swell as I am on shore. (boatdriver I have a lot of repsect for what you do!)

I enjoy lots of GT3 (when I have time), lots of friends (always have the time) and lots of alcahol (but only in moderation! )

Yay 4 PAL!!!

You mean they made other games for the PS2?

Talking about nicknames, mine should be pretty obvious. My incredible love of hunting, (and of course, my teen years did bring up other reasons for my nickname ) Of course, it seems this is one of the few places were my nickname gets used Of course, back when I won GT-HIGH, I was calling myself Hunthicks at school!!

yeah in the age of online first person shooter games like counterstrike and super-realistic car games like GT3, the atari is loads of fun with the joystick controller and one button. my favorite games are still space invaders and spider fighter(a rip off of space invaders)

In my freezer, or back porch, depending on what your baiting. If its fish, i got it in the freezer. If its something with sharp teeth, i have the remaains of a Ruffed Grouse that was my prize for bearing the -22 degree celcius weather(plus wind!!!!!!) And yeah, Atari is a pretty awesome diversion sometimes. no saves, no long missions etc. I like games like frogger, pressure cooker, centepede amoung others.......

Yes,... the general concencous among most "pot heads" would be that chocolate is the desired "munchy" when under the influence.

I see that stereotyping is the popular way to make convorsation around here.

Midget gems are nothing like jelly beans, they're kinda chewy, fruity gum like little things, square in shape about the size of a finger nail, they are renound for sticking to teeth.
Bon Bons are toffees, coated a crunchy sugar case dusted in various flavours of fine sugar, probally the most disgusting confectionary known to man.
So, what are milk duds?
What a fantastic link, any other sweets that need translating from english-american?
Any one remember fireballs or dinosaur eggs?

The truth of the matter is, though, you're right!!

BTW, I have a question for you Brits. Ever heard of Billberry or jam made with same? My wife says it's good for eyesight and it's common in England. I was just wondering if that was some health food BS or really true.

Sorry - I don't know what Billbury is but do know of Blueberry, is that what you mean, if so that's stange .cos I thought that it was an American thing.

What do you mean we don't speak English in Britain!!!

I had the shock of my life in Vegas this time last year, I was trying to get some money out of a cash point and was asked what language I wanted.

The choices were, French, German and American.

Unable to find English I decided to try the machine out in French, after a couple of attempts I managed to get 20 dollars and was pleased that I had not struggled on in American!

The fact that it wasn't enough money for the Taxi is irrelevant, and the ensuing trouble that it caused is a whole different story!

A crazy world indeed!

Marc

roflmao !!!

Actually, I had misread huskyboy's post as implying Americans didn't speak english so was giving a raspberry . And, yes, it is billberry, not bluberry. I just wondered if anyone had actually heard of it. As I suspected, it's probably pretty obscure .

Merry Christmas to all and Happy Holidays!!

Rikki, you said in another thread you worked with air bags. They put air bags in rockets? Doesn't seem like they would help much, like jumpimg off a skyscraper and landing on a pillow.
