OK. I used to hang here quite a lot. But is there seriously no posts for 100 days for GT4?

No TTs?
No License tests?
No online challenges/races? Remember we used to do those based on trust?

What's the recommendations here for the most realistic racing nowadays?

Cheers

Must be something wrong with your browser, WS - there have been at least 300 posts this week!

Why not stimulate some activity by posting something up? I should think something GT4 would stand a better chance than anything PS3, due to the wider potential pool of participants.

My quietness is due to Lord of the Rings On-Line eating not only my GT time but my life as well! .

Sadly no - it would've been an excellent thing for us to share gaming together but she was just not interested in putting in the enormous amount of hours.

That said, she is considering the new Star Trek on-line game ... we shall see .

It would but she is simply not interested in pouring that amount of hours into a game .

But it works out okay. She gets to watch the endless crap TV she loves and I get to play games. On balance all is well .

My wife and I have two TVs side-by-side (well, separated by a stereo cabinet).

She watches lots of CSI etc, and I try not to get too distracted myself while playing GT4.

Bones and Abby are sort of distracting.

I showed her a replay of my Mission 15, and she told me to stop picking on that cute little Fiat 500 with my monstrous sports car.

{Chuckles} You bully you .

I don't think I could put up with the distraction of a TV whilst I was playing GT I do confess.

I don't even like people talking to me when I'm 'driving' - it's in part because it seems the 're-wire' my brain had to do after my bike accident has associated some parts of the verbal response 'circuit' with the 'timing of movement' circuit :O.

Mission 11 required quiet alone time after she'd gone to bed.

Bike accident. Motorcycle or bicycle?

Just had a vision of Sukerkin on a unicycle trying to maneuver through a train station with a wireless DS2, trying to focus on a giant screen with unfortunate results. I think he brought out a katana to confront the alleged antagonists.

Sorry...... mental lapse over. Please continue.

 at Brick's imaginings - I'll have what he's drinking .

As to my bike accident, aye, it was a motorcycle. An Audi Quattro driver clearly decided that there were too many sport-bikes in England and tried to get rid of one ... unfortunately I happened to be on it at the time .

What the Quattro driver couldn't accomplish, LOTRO seems to have done for him!

ROFL - aye, LOTRO is the life-eater at present.

The accident was many years ago, back when I was in my twenties.

Good! (In the sense that it is the one I already heard about, and not a repeat performance!)

We watched The Return of the King on Channel 4 HD the other night, or a bit of it anyway. It was quite well done, if you can forgive the rewrite of the storyline to write out the Saruman part (and I did notice one faulty CGI sequence which should have been re-done).
