It looks like there is a separate gauge display for each wheel, rear left (RL), front left (FL), etc. What would the gauge be telling you? Traction/wheelspin? RPM? and what are you supposed to do with that information once you have it? IP: Logged |

That could be from that Toyota concept car. It has electric motors in each wheel hub. Just a guess. IP: Logged |

You could be right Jim, I think so too. On the other hand....just ignore the lightshow and drive. ![]() IP: Logged |

That's the concept car alright. At least that's what it looks like on my demo disk I got. IP: Logged |

I would believe that it was the Toyota concept. Remember that the vehicle has 2 drivers shown in it. So perhaps it has something to do with that. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Perhaps it's the electric meter? Maybe you have to stop and insert a quarter credit coin when each wheel runs out of juice? IP: Logged |

I get the impression that the time limit part is just for a certain mode, like license or something to that effect. Thats one thing I loved about the GT games, they dont time you with a countdown and allow you to discover the course on your own to get a hang of it. I also had my questions about the new displays. ...and it seems the time trail is for a license: http://carsmedia.ign.com/cars/image/article/520/520401/gran-turismo-4-20040601044642697.jpg IP: Logged |
