Yep, the wife is off spending money, so I'm hosting another Instant Race. Since last week had such a high turn out, I'll be giving it a go at the same time, 3pm Board time. (AKA New york City) We'll gather in the same place ( www.deralta.net/instant ). Come 3pm I'll announce the car and track combo, and we'll all have 1 hour to run. If it all goes well, We'll follow that up with another one. ANd possibly a third. Hope to see a few of you there. AO IP: Logged |

I'd love to give this a go as it's a typically good idea from your good self Alex. However, on the 12th, I'll be off to Manchester to see Prog Legends 'Rush' in concert so I shan't have the time. Sorry. As an aside, now that the Planets 'repaired', when're we going to get some technical, well worded, longwinded challenges going again? I know Famines got something lined up for SSR11 and that piques my interest straight away LOL! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Ahhh... Virgil Brigman, Back on-line. But seriously, I had a computer crash last night of legendary proportions. Seems there was a virus buried in my boot sector that was keeping itself pretty quiet. I suspected something was odd, but a hardware firewall, a software firewall, antivirus, adaware and Spybot told me the machine was clean. Zone alarm picked it up, and in the process of cleaning the machine, corrupted WinXP. Had to reinstall windows, twice to get back up, then reinstall various different pieces of software. I'm still running into odd hitches here and there. I do apologize for not showing, or getting word out. THe missus had the laptop and I was screwed with the PC being down. AO IP: Logged |

Ouch. Boot sector viruses are never fun. Glad to have you back with the living, DerAlta. As you can see, we had some races. I just stopped in to say hi - I didn't drive. IP: Logged |

It's good to hear from you DA. At least we know it wasn't serious now! We had fears that you had been dragged out shopping! IP: Logged |
