So far best lap is 32.259/1'24.950

Still looking for some more HP (I hate breaking in cars...) so maybe I can eek out another few tenths.

Oh yeah, settings are:

Found that extra HP

Have seen 31.5xx and 1'24.2xx T1 and T2 but not together in a clean race Have made progress though.

Tuscan and HareTurtle, how's the rest of "Team Suzuki" doing?

@rikki- I know I'm not driving the same car as you, but for the sake of your "teammates", you should probably explain which setting each - is for.

Am I missing the irony here? There are only two settings you can change, namely asm and tcs.

I've just had my first run of a dozen or so laps and dipped into the 1'23s at T2. I'm running TCS at 4 on the Diahatsu to counteract some of the power understeer.

Understeer-got that!
Power-got none!

Seriously-Rikki- I`ve had no time to improve on my T1-33,1 T2-1.25,3 but seeing the T-1 times mentioned here I hope to shave atleast 0,8 secs off T1 and get to 1.24,3-maybe...
anyway the Suki ain`t as bad as I feared, but then again; what about the minis+ no word yet?

Yes.

After a half hour or so, my Mini's best clean race has 1:24.1 T2. Should be able to take a bit more off after a few beers, and as soon as April stops trying to converse with me while I'm racing.

I`ve been "forced" to take an extra watch, as a mate of mine called-in sick, so I´m asking a favour here!
Extend the deadline by 3 hrs. and give me a chance to submit.(I´ll be at work for 16hrs. straight 4pm-8am local)

I carved out a few minutes from work to make sure I get this one done, but I'm well off eggie's pace in the mini...

32.7xx/1:25.4xx

I'm probably not gonna find more time to improve...now to think up a spot to steward....

No problem, consider the deadline extended to 3.00 am Monday 9/6/04 board time.

I wasn't planning to get up at 05:00 local time just to post everyone their results

Been out of town for a few days, but got in a decent session tonight. Some awesome times posted while I was away. Nice times with the Suzuki, rikki! And eggman!! For a short while my best lap was a 32.364 1:24.751, but I took off .15 overall with a 32.648 1:25.050 (submitted). Don't ya just hate it when that happens? Hope I'm at least on the penultimate teat.

I think I under-drove the Diahatsu in testing, as it proved to be the quickest car out there. So apologies to everyone who picked the Mini or the Suzuki and many thanks to eggmann for forcing me to run the Avanzato

The results

1. WasteGate - Daihatsu - 1'51.367 (31.306, 1'22.156)
2. Santiago22 - Daihatsu - 1'51.826
- WasteGate (Guest) - Suzuku - 1'52.409 (31.481, 1'23.424)
- WasteGate (Guest) - Mini - 1'52.663
3. Eggmann - Mini - 1'53.273
4. Famine - Diahatsu - 1'53.817 (
5. Tuscan S - Suzuki - 1'53.876 (31.898, 1'24.200)
6. Rikki - Suzuki - 1'53.909 (32.195, 1'24.665)
7. HareTurtle - 1'54.657
8. Boatdriver - Mini - 1'56.349 (32.768, 1'25.499)
DQ GT3mich - Mini - 1'47.256

Bad luck to rikki who was less than 1/10 slower than Famine's Daihatsu, and ended up two places behind him.

I've included my testing runs with the Mini and the Suzuki as guest runs.

The quotes

Rikki - "I had a faster run but bumped the wall exiting the last chicane I
had a lot of fun with this! Nice call!"

Boatdriver - "Didn't have much time to do this justice"

Famine - "I didn't fall asleep ONCE!"

HareTurtle - "Great spot!! Didn't try the Mini, but I found the Suzuki and the Daihatsu to be very evenly matched. And Cote for sure seems wider at these speeds. Anyway"

Thanks to everyone who took part, well done to the top guys, and Boatdriver, you're up next unless someone else wants to run with the ball.

I started this last night at 10:30pm but most of the work was done months ago in the Mini series that I won over at GTPLanet. I just plugged in the settings save and went for it. My T2 time was 1:19.000. I thought eggmann was going to give some trouble since he clobbered me in I-Link using the mini @ Cote. I guess the eggstra hourses helped me out. I have the replay if anyone is interested. Thanks for the fun Wastegate!

Settings save? What settings? The car was supposed to be running with standard suspension, gearbox, diff and brakes.
